How and why we use information

Location and device permissions

Camera and photo permissions support taking, uploading or saving photos. Motion permission, where requested, supports location accuracy and battery efficiency. Notification permission supports chat, community and venue alerts.

You can change permissions in your device settings. Turning off a permission may limit its associated features. Disabling notifications does not automatically disable background location; change the location permission separately.

Who can see your information

Your profile and community contributions are visible according to the feature and privacy settings you choose. A check-in or photo may reveal a place you visited. Messages and shared photos are delivered to their recipients, who may save or share copies. Privacy controls cannot retract screenshots or copies already made by another person.

We use service providers to support authentication, cloud storage, messaging delivery, hosting, maps and location functionality. Do not upload or send unlawful content, threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, sexual exploitation material, pornography, scams, spam, private information without permission, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not stalk users, impersonate people or brands, create deceptive check-ins or use the app to organise illegal activity. Obtain permission where needed before sharing another person’s image or information.

Messaging is subject to the app’s friendship and blocking controls. Do not bypass a block or repeatedly contact someone who does not wish to communicate. Report abuse through [confirmed reporting mechanism] or [Support email].

Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or gross negligence.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using the app and request account deletion through the procedure in the Privacy Policy. Suspension and deletion do not cancel lawful obligations or prevent necessary retention. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated with an effective date; we obtain renewed acceptance where required. If you do not accept a change, you may discontinue use.

Governing law and contact
